has received some new models to add to its collection. These were donated by Dr. Bruce Charnov from Hofstra University and were some of the models on display during the Autogiro conference held in April, 2003. We will begin reorganizing the museum this month now that winter is over. Please contact us if you would like to help.
We need Umbaugh/Air & Space 18 parts! We have 18A serial number 6, which has a few pieces missing. Also, we have dug out of storage the remains of the Umbaugh U17. This was the very first machine built and had a T tail. We will have to build the T tail from scratch, but can use other parts from any 18A to help with the rest of the machine. If you can donate parts, or know of any salvage machines, we certainly would appreciate your help.
The museum building still needs a HVAC system to control the temperature and humidity which is vital to preserving the machines, photos and documents.
We could certainly use anyones help in acquiring such. There is a plethora of possible projects which all take funding. Please help preserve and protect the history of Rotorcraft by becoming a member/supporter.
